Saadur Rahman, D.O., F.A.C.O.I, F.A.S.N.
Dr. Rahman graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a BS degree in Mathematics. He then completed his Medical school from Des Moines University in Iowa. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Nephrology from Michigan State University teaching hospitals in Metro Detroit, MI area. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. He has served as Associate Professor of Medicine at University of Illinois. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology (FASN).
He moved to Mobile, AL in the summer of 2019 with his family and joined Nephrology Associates of Mobile and has been serving as a Nephrologist since then.
Dr. Rahman's philosophy of care is to treat patients as he would like his family be treated. He likes to educate patients about their disease process and evidence based treatment options as he treats his patients as partners in healthcare.
Some of his areas of interests include: acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, end stage renal disease, hemo-dialysis, peritoneal dialysis, malignant hypertension, glomerulonephropathies, and electrolyte imbalances.
